What am I signing up for?

You may be invited to participate in a research session to give your honest feedback on USA.gov. Most of our studies are conducted online. Some studies are conducted face-to-face near you. The studies typically last one hour or less. If you participate in a session, you will be compensated. Compensation amounts vary, but are typically $75 for a one hour interview, and $35 for a half hour, and paid via online Visa gift card.

Your participation is voluntary. You can opt out and be removed from our list at any point. To opt out, email us at tts-research@gsa.gov.

What do I need to participate?

• A willingness to share your honest feedback
• A laptop, tablet, or smartphone
• Internet access
• To be 18 years or older

How it works

1. Sign up.
2. If you are a match for an upcoming study, we will follow up with details about next steps.
3. Once you complete a research session, we will compensate you.

Protecting your personal information

By registering, you give consent for us to contact you. Learn more about how we will protect your information in our privacy act statement for design research and our privacy and security policies at USA.gov.

Information you provide will be stored securely and be made unidentifiable. If you participate in a feedback session, you may be asked to provide your legal name and contact info to our gift card service, Giftbit, to issue your gift card. This data is held temporarily and is separate from any information you provide when signing up to participate or during a feedback session.
